Matthew "Bug" Mobley, 44, died May 9, 2008 at Memorial Health University Medical Center. He was born in Savannah, son of the late Ellis and Pauline Bell Mobley. He was a graduate of Tompkins High School and attended Temple of Glory Community Church. Matthew was employed for twenty two years with Great Dane Trailers and also worked part time for Hertz Rental Car. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ellis Mobley, Jr. and Hosea Mobley.

Surviving are his wife, Mara L. Mobley of Savannah; son, Matthew David Mobley, daughters, Maria P. Mobley, Marcia D. Mobley, Michelle L. Mobley, Tiffany Preston all of Savannah; granddaughter, Raven Preston of Savannah; goddaughter, Camilla Jackson of Savannah; brothers, Paul Phyllis Mobley of Seattle, WA; Clifford Sally Mobley of Claxton; Steven Sandra Mobley of Savannah; Jeremiah Mobley of Savannah; sister, Queen Esther Robinson of Savannah; sister-in-law, Mary Mobley of Virginia and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.

Funeral: 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 15, 2008 at Temple of Glory Community Church with Bishop Matthew Odum officiating.

Entombment: Hillcrest West Mausoleum.
